Once all papers have been submitted, the review process begins, which is also to be conducted via the conference system. To this end, all students are to write two reviews of papers assigned to them and, in return, will receive two reviews of their own paper. These reviews should then be used to incorporate their fellow students’ comments and suggestions for improvement into their own work. Following the submission deadline, requests will be sent to the email addresses registered in the conference system over the course of the following day, asking for the reviews. A separate request will be sent for each review, so that everyone should receive exactly two of these requests. If you visit the website provided in the email, you will be asked to confirm the request. Please do comply with this request, as this allows us to confirm that the request has reached you. Should you not receive any requests at all, please do let us know.
The reviews you write will be part of your overall grade in this seminar. However, the reviews you get will not influence your grade at all.
This means you have no influence on the other seminar participants' grades, regardless of whether you provide positive or negative feedback or suggest acceptance or rejection. On the other hand you are encouraged to write an honest review, as the reviews you write will be read and checked by your seminar tutor.
